B2B Fabric Platform
A fabric supplier's B2B platform, taken over after the previous team left and renewed — I added live rooms so buyers and sellers could look at fabric together from anywhere.

About the project
HerMin Textile sells fabric to buyers who traditionally had to be in the room to judge it. Their platform — a fabric catalogue, trend boards, quotations and orders — had aged, and the team who built it was off the contract. I took it over and renewed the front end alone over four months, working with their backend engineer.
The part that mattered most was new. In a live room, two people see each other over WebRTC — peer connections through simple-peer, signalling over socket.io — with a text chat beside the video and a shared board where either side can push a fabric image the other sees straight away. Sessions can be recorded, and what a buyer picks can be exported as a PowerPoint deck or a PDF.
Keeping both sides in sync over WebSocket was the hard part: joins, leaves, a room that is already full, a peer that drops, and a board that has to show the same thing to two people at once. After that came audio and video — making a call look and sound right takes far more tuning than making it connect.
