About the project
XR EXPRESS ran a virtual show for Taiwanese XR companies. The 3D exhibition floor was their own platform; what it needed around it was a site — somewhere to browse exhibitors by field, from education and entertainment to industrial and fire rescue, read a company's profile, register, and step through into the space.
I built that site alone over four months. Next.js with Material-UI and Redux, Google sign-in and the member flows around it, live chat, shipped with Docker and PM2.
Most of those four months went into motion. Every category carries its own Lottie animation and the pages move throughout — which reads as decoration right up until you are the one matching each sequence to the designer's timing, on every screen size, for four months.
